Ever had a digital proof go wrong?

Looking to do postcard mailouts VERY soon. Most postcard mailing companies only offer digital proofs of your postcard before you choose to have them printed. Have you guys ever had a proof look good online and then terrible in person?

I just had 5000 postcards printed. The pdf proof I was sent looked good but the cards looked even better. I have had all my printing done based off of pdf proofs and I havn't ran into any problems thus far.

I know a guy who is really good in the logo and marketing design biz who is great if anyone is looking for someone.

Every proof I was ever given from any printing company, I was very happy with the results. I'm sure with this, just as with everything, once in a while u find a lemon, but I would feel very comfortable with it.

By far the cheapest printer I have ever worked with. A ordered 10,000 door hangers, and 1,500 broshures from them a couple of months ago.. very happy.

I was shocked to see how low their prices were.
