2wd Chevy 3500 6.5 Turbo Diesel with 12ft fatbed

Is it possible to plow with this truck?

Salt spreader on the back?

Chains?

Can it be done?

Sure, load the back with some salt, shouldn't be too big of a deal, a lot plow with similar set ups.

what kind of plowing you looking to do? parking lots?? driveways? i almost never put my dump truck in 4wd while plowing lots, if your doing drives that are steep it can be a problem. just keep the weight on it.

This truck would be used for parking lots, actually just 1 parking lot.

The salt spreader would not be a tailgate spreader, it would be a larger in the bed spreader.

A pick-up would be used for driveways.

Any other input guys......

Run real good rubber, ample weight and plow smart, it will plow fine.
