Its pretty common here. If its plugged in, no big deal. There are lots with 5-6 pieces of equipment on them. They sit there all Winter and the rented machines go back in the Spring. I don't know why a dealer would not take advantage of that. Although I don't see Deere machines anywhere, they may have issue with it.

I always thought as long as the machine was plugged in it was all good. I tried to rent loaders from a bigger outfit but they didn't like the cold starts and didn't seem to care about the plugging in, they also may not have wanted to rent to me either.

I had a real good winter rental from Cat(906) one year and they charged way too much the next year but think now the rates would have to be better.
