The nail was around before any balancer and I have done it this way for 30+ years and never had bearing failure. And if you take your time its pretty dam close to perfect.

Most of the area's lawn care companies shutter at innovation and technology...I like it!

RBG has what looks like a really nice sharpener now. It is a hands free sharpener. You set the blade up in the machine, turn it on and walk away. The sharpener does the rest by it's self. It's the RBG912. $558 at PEW.
BTW, I wouldn't have posted such a large pic but since Greg already blew out the window I figured what the heck.
