The nail was around before any balancer and I have done it this way for 30+ years and never had bearing failure. And if you take your time its pretty dam close to perfect.

RBG has what looks like a really nice sharpener now. It is a hands free sharpener. You set the blade up in the machine, turn it on and walk away. The sharpener does the rest by it's self. It's the RBG912. $558 at PEW. http://powerequipmentwarehouse.com/r...r-p-48003.html
