New Exmark 48" Turf Tracer HP = $6150?

That was my dealer's quote for a new one pre-tax. That's about $1000 more than I paid 5 or 6 years ago for the one it's replacing.

Any opinions on whether or not this is a good deal?

I looked into a Metro Last year. It was $3700 before tax. From the same dealer one year earlier I paid $2,850 for the same machine from the same dealer. Don't ask me how it makes any sense, but I'm hearing exmark just raised prices for no good reason.

I'm thinking they are a good bit more than that here.
