Dealer doesn't stock the FS110R
He figures what's the point ... there's only $20 difference
between it and the FS130R plus a weight difference of only
0.2 lbs. between the two. I'm inclined to agree with him.

I can see where he is coming from and it makes complete sense really, when you think about it. But there are plenty of people, like me, who go into a store/dealer and expect to buy a specific model and expect to pay $X amount for it. I don't want to have to spend $20 extra just because my dealer doesn't think that there is a reason to carry the model I want. $20 is enough for me to not want to step up to the next model. If I bought the FS110R, that $20 I saved from not buying the FS130R could get me some oil and trimmer line. Or if I'm buying multiple units at one time (say 5 units) thats $100 extra I would have to spend extra on the 130 vs. the 110.
If I really wanted the FS110R, and went to your dealer, I'd have them order me that model.

mowerbrad,
Can you think of any situation where the FS110R would be underpowered?

I've got an FS100RX (same engine, just a lighter overall unit) and it has more than enough power for the stuff I do. I mainly do weekly trimming with some heavier cutting every so often, and everytime it has had plenty of power and then some. So for most jobs, the 110 would have more than enough power. But if you do more heavy cutting regularly then the 130 could be a better choice, if you are really need power.
But honestly, the FS110R has plenty of power for almost any job.

Seems like kinda a lousy excuse from a dealer. If your gonna stock a company's product, it seems like you would stock the most popular one at least.

I have a 130 which is a beast and then I have a 100rx I think its called, I would say the 100 is the perfect machine. Its very light and sometimes but only a few times shy on power. Now please keep in mind I don't have my guards on so we are running a bit more string than normal. With guards on I don't think any unit is underpowered.
