Under the cab

I popped up the cab for the first time on the TL130, it was a slow day and good weather so I wanted to see what all the fuss is about, and I can honestly say, now I know where the heavy weight comes from, geez there was a lot of metal under there:




Valve bank on the upper left, and aux. valve bank on the right, now I see why they had the aux. controls on the left pilot control, makes sense now:



My hydraulic quick change valve is under the sill plate, with 2 electric solenoids, 1 on each side, and the aux. pump is below it:



HVAC lines:



Fuel filter:


And since I had some tools out, I removed the fenders, what a world of difference that makes in side visibilty to the tracks:





The Cat's and Deeres are by far the cleanest under the cabs, and I have to say Takeuchi isn't as bad, but the Bobcat's are still not the greatest.
It only took me 2 minutes to pop the cab up, but I had some difficulty in lining up the bolt holes, so I loosened up the main bolt under the sill and that made it easier.

I thought about removing the fenders on mine because they collect leaves. You should remove the side screens.

I just had one of my employees spend two days cleaning packed silt from inside the bottom of my CT322 ! It enters through the track motor(s) line passages. There was a good 2 inches of fine silt in there.......throughout the entire bottom......it pumps its way in when working in muddy conditions. I left it to be good preventive care since the there are many lines in the belly that are hard piped.

Have a friend that spend a many dollars at the dealer to have pin-holed lines replaced on his skid that were buried in mud and rusting outside in.

I've now put this on my once a year care plan for my CTL.

It wasn't an easy cleaning task since the under cab view on my CT322 is just as cluttered...........................shop vac with crevis tool and long thin sticks for loosening the packed silt.

If you mean the ROPS screens, they would be next, but there's not a whole lot keeping a wayward stick from poking the glass out.
The track tension is fine, with all the rocks I encountered a little slack seems to help.
I'll bet I could make that engine oil filter a remote set up if I had the right tools at hand, there's lots of room beside the radiators.

I want to move the air cleaner box on mine to the rear hood. The compressor on mine sits right in front of it.

I agree on the tracks. I think tight tracks really puts the wear on undercarriage and will cause excess fuel consumption. The only time I run them snug is when I'm side hilling.
