We have professional ones and some from word. We use both. We passed out 10,000 cheap half page word fliers on bright colored paper last year and I was suprised at the response. Not how many call back but for the scope of work. Its wasnt just smaller things a few larger projects which suprised me because of how crappy the flier was.

Well there is two answers to this questin. What type of properties you are advertising too. If you are advertising to med- lower class homes then print at home is better becuse these people think hey its a small company and I can get a low price, Any guy with a mower and truck can print at home. Advertising to med- high class homes the print shop with graphic design would be the way to go becuse they see it as this is more an established company and are willing to pay more for the most part. For years I used buisness cards from a print shop and when I moved to TN I found a place 5 min from the house and they do muti-color high quality printing on the shiny stock. When I pass these cards out the response in wow nice card and before I didn't get any feedback on the card quality.

Don't know if this will help or not but I went to vistaprint.com to get all of my cards fliers and everything. I got the first 25 for free and just paid shipping..$5. And took them to Kinkos for copies. I'm just starting my business this year so advertising funds were pretty low so I ended up getting nearly everything I needed from this website for less than $200. Anyways, just my 2cents.

i designed ours on word, then sent the design to a printing company, adeas printing on the left of your screen as a advertiser to be exact, and they made the rough design into purdy and printed it. very nice and recommend them

Just don't make one like this. It was on my mailbox, first sign that this guy is an idiot. Should've reported him to the postmaster. I would never ever call someone who put out a piece of crap like this. God knows how bad his work is

I used Plan-it Graphics which I learned about here on LS. Was GREAT!! They look awesome, delivered when expected and price wasn't bad at all. Also Bob over there was quick to respond to any questions and very fast on the proofs. He was replying to E-mails at like 9 or 10 at night. Was great, will continue to use them. The 5,000 I got look so good I will probably order more, and my business cards look better than any I have ever seen, can scan them if anyone wants to see examples of his work.
