TTHP or Viking? or just floating/fixed deck hydro?

for me itll be between the tthp and viking.

I'm not sure I totally understand the question, but the best way to explain a floating deck is that it hugs the ground better and kinda "floats" as compared to a fixed deck. This will help cause less scalping. That's the best way I can explain it......

yes, and the height of cut is changed in seconds, compared to minutes.

The floating deck is allways level no matter what hieght you have the deck at, and thats one of the reasons they cut better.

Ease of cutting height change alone is a good reason to go with the Tracer. Resale value is much higher too.

I agree. The last thing you want to mess with is height adjustments either via carrier frame or blade spacers.

48 and up i would go floating. 36 and under the floating deck might not be worth the cost difference.
