have a question

i dont do sealcoating and have no desire to. i condo that we landscape and plow had it done last year and it is the slickest stuff i have ever seen. even with just some rain on the ground its hard to get up the little hill out front. over the winter it was almost impossible to plow, i would have to get a running start to get up the hill then plow the top then do the hill down toward the street. when i was there mowing today you can see all the marks in the asphalt from everyone spinning trying to get up the hill.

what is causing this? did they get scammed on the sealcoat job? i dont think anyone in the devoplopment knows much about it so i think someone took advantage of them.

They didnt add any sand to the mixture. Sand is what gives you the traction and also extends the wear time for the sealer.
