I named mine L.C. Lawn Care because of my sons initials. It was also the name of my first customer, My old neighbor Elsie. It is always mistaken for Low Cost lawn care but it reminds me every time I have to deal with bull crap why I'm doing it in the first place.
I am thinking of changing the name eventually to something beginning with the letter A. That way it is one of the first numbers in the phone book or yellow pages for my area.

"Cuttem Up Lawn Care"

changed it this year from Moore's Lawn Service. The old name is my last name but when I went to renew my license It was two other lco's with the same name. Cuttem up just came from people saying " I'll cut them up" when speaking about something or someone. No one has that name and it stands out. When I was getting it notarized the ladies said it was a cute but different name, ( I guess cause that's their favorite word.)

From Gator to AlyKat? Why would you do that?

Im also in the process of picking an official business name. Was thinking JerMajesty's total lawn service. My first name is jerame, like jeremy. its unique to me and i could use a slogan like treating you like royalty or something. (nickname my friends gave me) otherwise i was thinking the initials name. JCS lawn and landscape. Dont really want to fall into the same name as many others tho. Whats your thoughts?

i choose mine because Glenn is my last name. so when people call me they ask for Glenn. and they know the owners name and that way they can ask for me by name when they call.

i went with the name "We'll Push Lawn Care & Snow Removal" Most of the time its just called We'll Push by most and it was different than any other CO around or that I have found. With just about anything in the lawn care or snow removal you are pushing it at somepoint just that it would be a good choice what do you think?
