Who has rebuilt their JD hydro pumps with Simplicity parts?

I have got a JD HD45 walkbehind with a bad hydro pump.I took the pump apart and the rotor with the ball bearings is bad? My question is has any had any luck rebuilding these EATON 778 Pumps with simplicity parts? Both mowers are Eaton 778 but the simplicity is 778-010 and the JD is 778-013. Eaton wants 650 for the pump and JD wants 1100 dollars.

Would need the next group of numbers to determine 778-010-XXX-
013-XXX-
As this would determine rotation, and could vary on parts being replaced.

But here's the link for the repair manual http://hydraulics.eaton.com/products...LD-TS001-E.pdf
