One goes our way (hopefully)

We have a guy in a neighborhood we work in that cut our customer's grass without permission. Customer called us thinking that we cut it and that they were not happy with the quality this time. We explained that their appointment is not until later in the week. Anyway, they believe they see the guy a few houses down. Said they wouldn't pay him a cent. I am guessing he will knock on their door for payment before he goes home.

Usually things like this mean we are fixing to loose a job to someone who is cheaper. Perhaps this one will go in our direction. We will of course go out on the scheduled day and do what it takes to make the customer happy. Feels good when one goes your way for a change.

Yup, THIS is the reason WHY we should ALWAYS concentrate on doing a really good job!

Best way to keep a customer, same thing happened to me last year, and it looked like such
total crap that I had only minor problems keeping the account.
As in they were not entirely happy with my services either but a few adjustments took care of that,
nothing like maintaining a good looking lawn to help turn that in one's favor.
