Pin Oaks, Blue Spruce, Forsythias Needing plant

Hi guys, need help on a price quote. Here it goes

18 Blue Spruce $

15 Pin Oaks $

15 Forsythia $

15 Burning Bushes $

The guy is having them all delivered and the compost as well. The only thing I need is a price on planting. I was told to charge however much the shrub is which would be around $6,349 just for the planting. Does that sound right? I am going to have 2 other guys helping how many man hours would you estimate? Thanks!

oh boy-

b&b means balled and burlaped. 25"g" means 25 gallon container.

Either way doesnt make much difference. Ya better have some equipment to move this stuff as its gonna be heavy. Id rent one of those itty bitty back hoes that has a front end loader attached. Then get busy

6300$ is a lot of $$ for that stuff.

Id charge no less than $50 per man hour.

Make sure the utility protection people mark the property before you dig......

If you have not done the job yet, I would charge b/w $50 to $75 per tree to plant, higher price do to the compost around the ball (assuming that they are all B&B). For the smaller shrubs it would be b/w $20 and $30 again high end with the compost, just make sure that you open the top of the burlap b/f closing in the hole. I have a machine, but if you do not make sure you charge for the rental fee. Before I had my own machine we used a Dingo with a 3' auger on it to plant 15 Blue Spruce it worked great. I would be around the $4000 mark.

Rent a Dingo with a high torque auger and a 30" or 36" bit. Your holes will be done in less than on day. Rent the forks with the Dingo to move the trees that the Dingo will pick up.

If you do this your looking at a real nice return
