ALSO, next year I would like to switch out to the Northstar "Excavator" wheelbarrow, all metal:

A really nice wheelbarrow but I think they're like 160.00 at John Deere or Ewing, where the Jackson ones are like 110.00 at Home Depot.

Somebody else in Louisville, I'm located mainly in Oldham county and saw you have some mowing in Oldham county. Where do you do your mowing? I might be looking to sell my accounts or sub the work out if you are interested.

I appreciate the nod. I actually do mostly landscape work- mowing is only on Thursdays and that's only 4--6 yards currently... mowing isn't really my focus- and of those yards, they are in the St. Matthews/Indian Hills/Highlands area.

BUT, if you are serious and the accounts are worth it, I may be interested. If you get to thinking more, send me a message and we'll see what's up. Again, thanks for the thought.

I have actually been doing landscape work (trimming, etc) through a couple other lawn guys I know who are so tied up with mowing, they have little time for the other customer requests and have referred me.

Once the time comes I will put some serious thought into and keep you in mind. Otherwise, I'm looking to get some more landscaping experience so if you ever need any help I would more than willing be able to you. I live in Crestwood but travel around almost all of Louisville.

Ever try Brentwood wheelbarrows? I beat the piss out of mine and they hold up like crazy. They're plastic but can hold some serious weight (I know you have a Dingo though).

This is an 8 cube:

wouldnt use anything but brentwood, i have both a single wheel 6 cu. and a dual wheel 10 cu. brentwood. the single wheel is the nicest you can buy because of the wide ass tire. it is less tippy as a jackson but still very maneuverable.

I have a couple of those brentwoods ... very tough ... also very pricey lol ... but they hold up sooo well ... I didnt even know they put grease points on wheel barrows till I got them ... it makes a difference though they're so smooth ... and the dual front wheels you can wheel it with one hand when need be

I love them. I get so used to the dual wheel sometimes I go to pick up the single wheel with one hand and tip the damn thing over!

I'll have to check out that Brentwood wheelbarrow for mulch season next year. Looks like a beast.

Thanks! Just myself and another full time guy. I'm only a true 19 months 100% dedicated to the biz... 2007, 2008, 2009 I did it part-time (but llc, insured, taxed, all accounting, totally legit from day one) while still employed on a private landscape crew.

Slow and steady growth. I've had some big offers I've turned down because of my size, which is unfortunate. But better to not pull a dumb move and climb gradually. More guys next year and a third truck. I'm getting too busy, especially March, April, May, June.
