No. Aerating only goes down about 2" or less.

If your not going down at least 6" your not doing much for the compaction.

Thanks for the comment! Much appreciated. Have a few decent pictures to organize for posting... been so busy I've really slacked on keeping this better updated. Actually, been slacking on taking more job photos this year too. Always seem to forget.

Leaf season! Also decided to put in an irrigation system at my house, before I landscape anything. Took me (and help) half a Friday and two full Saturdays, plus all those other evening sessions, to install it. Had a company do the in-ground RPZ and all the crap at the meter and we did the system.

4 zones, all Hunter, MP Rotators in the turf. Have a ton of pics, might post more. It was fun and glad to have it in the ground.

Looking good! Gotta get me a leaf machine next year. Like the hunter & mp rotators. Started off installing RB rotary but quickly became a fan of the mp instead. Hoping to do my sprinkler system soon too. I have a zone on my beds but want to do my turf. Funny how there's never any time for my yard projects. LOL funny how that works. Like a cobbler with no shoes for his kids.

How good do those work? I was going to buy a huge one last week, this thing had an Inline 6 car engine. It was massive but it was just too big and clunky to be driving around all the time. Im thinking about getting a small billygoat and making a leaf box like Perfect earth has
