I have an LX460 rider and the springs on the deck are always breaking. I mow at the highest setting because I don't like to scalp my lawn. Is there a known problem with these mowers and is there a fix to this issue of do I just have to keep paying $15 per spring every other time I mow. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Sorry to hear that you are having problems with the belt tension spring on the deck of your Toro tractor. This is definitely not normal. The best way to troubleshoot this would be to bring your tractor to a Toro dealer and we will work with the dealer to make sure we figure out a solution to your problem. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for choosing Toro.
