Onan Ignition Module - Gone Bad?
I'm having problems w/ my 16hP Onan Wheelhorse 616-Z ZTR.
The engine runs fine when cold but shuts off when it gets hot. I already replaced the coil because it tested defective but the cutoff problem still exists. I ran 12 volts to the + side of the coil & still no spark. This indicates that the oil pressure sending until is not the problem. I'm looking for any tips that maybe helpful when I remove the blower housing cover & flywheel. I'm also in the market for an ignition module for the Onan P216V / 10873A engine. Thanks! Andy |
