pb 770t replaces br 600 junk

got my new echo pb 770t blower. wow! this thing is a beast! my stihl br 600 was sent back to the stihl factory in virginia beach because a gold cert. tech couldnt fix it. i know six different guys that have the br 600 and only one of them is happy with the blower. they do not put out what stihl claims and many of them are not running at the spec rpm of 7200! this echo is incredible and i am very impressed. anyone else notice that the eb 802 specs have dropped on shindiawas web site?

How much time is on the blower? We have 2 BR600's and a old BR420.

used just around my home. not abused at all. always ran 89 octane blah blah blah. wont run at spec rpm. gold cert. tech was great but finally threw in the towel. he said alot of people dont even realize that their blower is not running right. spec is 7200 rpm to get rated output. i still have an old br 400 that runs great. no way these 4 mix motors are gonna last like that!

I read all the threads on pros and cons Stil vs shindy then went to a stil dealer to check one out.He had one of those 4 stroke in for repairs and he starts badmouthing the owner(doesn't use the right mix, doesn't maintain it yada, yada)The thing is I know the owner of the stil and he takes care of his equipment.Right then I knew that the technology is too new and unproven(as has been stated on this site by many posters) and I'm not going to be the guinea pig who tests it out.So I went to a Shindy dealer and ask him about the 802 he says Shindy tried the 4 stroke but couldn't get the bugs worked out so they went back to the time tested 2 stroke cause it's much more reliable. So I bought the Shindy and am !00% satisfied, starts first pull every time. And as Forrest Gump would say ,that's all I have to say about that!

There is nothing new about the 4 Mix. It's been around since 2003 and the BR600 has been around since at least 2005 because that's the year I bought the one I'm still using. There will always be people that have trouble with any brand of equipment. I don't care what the brand is, there's going to be problems. There are significantly more satisfied users of 4 Mix engines than there are haters or Stihl wouldn't be able to sell them.

Echo and red max are my first choices. Have a big R.M. blower and Echo attatchment machine. Both great but the red max killed a carb once.

If I had $$ to blow I would buy several before 4 jokes are all thats available.
