Triton Deck "is it really that bad"

I have a exmark triton deck 60 inch which is a 2009 model ,I'm wondering since my unit is a 2009 did the deck improve versus older triton deck models

there were update kits for the older ones then they started putting them in at the factory after that. i have a model year 2008 bought in 07. it cuts great wet or dry. i have high lifts
