Here's how it works. Ask the customer how much they pay now, and then bid a dollar under. You will lose the account to a guy that does the same thing to you a few weeks later. After the one acre lawn gets down to about $15 per cut, that guy won't show up because he's due in court or he got an F on his report card or his Craftsman mower fell off the roof rack of his station wagon and then the whole process starts over again

NOW! It's never a bad time to bid or try to get more work unless your booked to the point where you can't keep up. Advertise as much as you can until you get about the amount of jobs you want to do or can handle. It can get expensive but well worth it in the long run. Just like everything is, the more money and time you put into something, the better it will be. Good luck to you!

LOL ! ! ! Cruising some old threads, this one cracks me up, but so true, havnt we all lost one to the neighbor kid, then called back in 2 months later.
