$1000 Reward for Theft

On July 5, 2007 while I was overseas (I just got back) I had the following equipment listed below stolen from Conway, SC. I am offering a $1000 reward for the return and arrest of parties responsible for the theft. Not to many people use the big Dixie Choppers. Whomever did this drove off with the entire truck/trailer rig and it was loaded with tools and supplies.

The trailer was a custom made unit.... no other like it. It looks like a regular landscape trailer except that it is 24' long and 84" wide with a drivers side 50" gate and regular real landscape gate. The tongue has a bend on the curb side I beam from where it was jackknifed. However it was fine to pull. Also had 5200 lb axles too. I believe that it may still be here in SC. Dixie Chopper has the serial numbers flagged at the factory too.

Yea.... a police report was made and of course they haven't done a thing. I figured that now that I am back I can rattle the tree a little and see what falls out. There are a lot of friends out there and maybe one of them has seen something. I am working all options right now.

I see. I guess insurance paid for it all, right?

No problem with the police. They took a report. Finding the stuff wasn't at the top of their list since I was out of the country. No insurance on it and that is what makes this one hard. It is about a $150K loss. My own fault. I did not set up auto pay before I left and the policy lapsed. My bad.

regardless of this wrong or that guy did/didn't do this- If you were overseas in service-I thank you. And I hope the Bum's get what they have coming. They may get away with it now..been 3 years- but they will pay in God's court in the end. Hope it works out for you.

Not everything is listed. There was a Little wonder, bed edger, chemicals, $20K of irrigation parts and supplies, chemicals, spare mower parts, etc. that I did not list. That figure is if I had to buy everything new again.
