Having a problem with my grasshopper 220

Hey there my question is this, when i run my mower and turn the PTO on eveything runs fine while its not moving, however as soon i start moving the mower it looses power and tries to shut off, if the PTO is off it runs fine, cant figure out what the problem is. any ideas??

There is a very good chance that you have a problem with the seat switch.
The seat switch, if not working properly, will shut down the machine with the PTO in operation, if it thinks you are not in the seat. Try bypassing the seat switch and see if it works properly. If that fixes it, you need a new seat switch most likely.

thanks i tried what you suggested, but the problem persists, it feels like it's running out of gas but all fluid levels are full to the max, has a new battery, new fuel filter, really has no reason not to run.

Have you tried running it with the choke slightly on when it starts to die out. If it runs better, then this might confirm you have a fuel supply problem.
Also, look for a pinched section fuel line somewhere.

thanks for your help i'll check out the tank the fuel lines and try the choke.
see what happens.
