IPM gone awry. Technically I guess this is more of an $8 million baiting than IPM.

Great Article. Even the Granola Nuts and Tree Hugger should approve of this.


I am following the USDA's research on Hog baiting. The Big problem with Hog Baiting is secondary contamination. Other animals eating the Hog carcass could be eaten by even more animals that die. In this case secondary contamination is out of the picture.

They need to do something about the brown tree snakes. I was stationed in Guam in the late 80's and the tree snakes had just about wiped out the bird population.
