Anybody start out with employees?

I gather that most start out in the biz as a solo operation. However, I'm curious to know if anyone out there actually stated out with having employees. I don't know if I can get the accounts, but idealy, I'd like to start out with two two man crews. I know it's a long shot. Just wondering if anyone else was able to do this. Thanks.

I started with one guy and myself. I had gotten a large resort that took us 3-4 days to do, so I knew I had to have someone to help. But I still don't have two crews, as much as I would love to.

you may be opening up a really big can of worms here.

if you have NO customers But you have employees, you may find yourself in a PARTNER relationship with these employees.

not sure how it would work.
