It's funny. People will always be quick to pat someone on the back who has the latest truck, trailer, and mowers. Then shun the honest fellow with homeowner equipment, but the truth my friend lies in yourself. As long as you keep a fire lit under your ass about your business you will grow very very quick. I just started with 3 yards in April and now I have 30. Last year I worked for a high school friend who had 60 yards. I saw how quickly you could grow and I swore never to work for him or anyone else but myself in landscaping. Best decision yet.

You can get an excellent trailer, commercial walk behind, and commercial trimmer and blower for like $2500...That's not much investment considering how much the equipment could potentially make you. Keep your head up. Oh, and also. You need to people who hate on you. They will motivate you like nothin' else.

Yea I mean there's a chance someones life is so boring they would make up a joke thread but if thats the case its more sad then funny. Making joke threads on internet forums is pretty lame. Like winning the special olympics at best.

Thanks man! i don't know why everyone is convinced that this is a joke. I mean i might not have the best equipment but it gets the job done. like i mentioned before i plan on getting newer stuff when my business expands.

As long as your stuff gets the job done. You're overhead is next to nothing so your profit margins are huge. Key is to save, or have enough yards to finance.
