brown and crunchy!!

That describes the condition of most yards around here!! The only thing growing is the crab grass! unless we get some major rain here this week, I have a bad feeling I will be switching the majority of my customers to bi weekly or even tri weekly!!! It figures, we had such a great spring!

Things have gone from getting pretty dry to water, water, everywhere in the space of only a few days. Six plus inches in some areas before yesterday, and it rained last night, and is doing so again now. I suspect many places will end up with 8+ inches before is over with. Got rained out at the last account last night, and a pop-up

I thought sure the system that brought all the rain was heading right through Kentucky and Tennessee? I hope you all end up getting at least some of this moisture.

Water here is VERY expensive, and quite frankly, if you do not put down an inch, youv'e wasted the water. People don't understand how much an inch of rain is...If you don't have a system, I don't expect customers to spend the better part of a day moving around a sprinkler, which they may or not have, to often just make a lawn look a little bit better. Even though I make a living doing this, what it takes to have a beautiful lawn is sometimes really overrated.

It is going to rain here all day!!!!! just in time! I only have a few customers that water on a regular basis if it gets dry, most do not have the time to do this and the above post had it right, how many people are going to spend all day moving the sprinkler around and spending money on all that water just to make their yard look a little better? Not many! most people know no matter how dry and brown their yards get, they always come back when it rains.
