My dog got skunked

Beau took on a skunk this morning.
Any secret remedies to get the smell out ASAP? I tried tomato juice and a bath.

oooo, that stinks!

my dog got it a few years ago. i let her back in the house before i realized it, and it made everyone in the house sick.

i tried the tomato juice which somewhat worked, but i could still smell it. i took her to the groomer with instructions that she was not to come home until the smell was out. the groomer said it took 4 washings, a puppy cut shave and a whole lot of shampoo.

good luck.

If you watched Billy the extermanator last night, you would know it takes about 2 weeks for the smell to go away!

My dog used to get skunked occasionally - I seem to remember a shampoo that had some enzymes in it that neutralized the odor.
Took two bath's to get it all out but the stuff worked.
Been a long time ago so I don't remember the stuff's name.
