Ariens has the pro zoom which is a commercial much like the pro turn in the gravely line. Some of the max zooms are close but not quite a commercial unit.

Yeah I know it is not commercial grade, but I was speaking in more sense to the average homeowner with little knowledge of these machines will certainly get a better machine in the Airens over some of the machines they have sold over the years!

Looking at the Max Zoom, as you said not quite commercial, but a pretty beefy machine. I would like to look one over if my HD ever gets one! It does look a little pricey though?

The evolution was also $1k off up until last month. In the end I was looking at the Snapper Pro 52 with the FX26 for $5700 and the Evolution 36" with FX19 for $5500

I didn't have a gate so I went with the 52" Its Still a foot shorter then a comparable sized ZTR . I would have gone with a 36 If there were a Snapper version .

During the test drive you can notice the torque this thing has and you can easily pull wheelies on this thing but it won't flip on you.

Yea they are pretty heavy machines...our hd had one and that was i think becouse a customer ordered it and then backed out. I dont believe most of them carry the bigger line. Yea they do seem a bit pricey to me too. I would compare it to like a hustler fastrak or something similar.

I just notest the zoom and i could tell its the game as our gravely HD units we run but i did not compaire the engines and things but i will say this our gravely units are great mowers for the $$$ we run the 27hp kolar courage 60'' cuts and besides a pos starter breaking and one blade electric switch they have run fantastic at 800hours this year i dont know if the zoom is the same quality level as far as commercial compairison but the 2760HD is a large area hevey duty home owner mower and if the zoom is built to the same standards its a good unit

Based on the feedback from people who bought the Z-Beast on this site, and others, it appears this thread has a longer usable lifetime than the mower.
