Here's to Camden, the dog that Laughing Lab ale is named after. Died last week at the age of 16.
Yes I'm a softy for dogs, and good local beer. LL is my all time favorite adult beverage. I think I'll make a donation to the local humane society in Camden's name.

Awww that Is sad. Is this beer only sold locally around Colorado? Or just the Midwest?

Not sure if it sold outside Colorado. Maybe neighboring states. Too bad though, 'cause it is a great beer. It's won many awards over the years. But, it's brewed here in podunk Colorado Springs, so it doesn't get the recognition. Nice little brew place, and they lease out some space to some folks that do some kick azz fish tacos. Bristol Brewing does a lot for the community too - fund raising for local trails and the zoo both come to mind.

16 years old is pretty old for a large dog. I lost my German Shepard last summer, due to old age. She was 13, worst day of my life. Salute! to Camden & Dakota.

My old guy lab/golden/sneaky-neighbor-dog mix is going on 12. Really starting to grunt and groan when he stands up or lies down. My lab/chow mix is 8 and runs the house.

the trip next week will be the only time in 14 yrs. (other than her whelping times) that doobie isn't going.

she looks at me like i'm stupid when i sign her to load up on the quad but she loves to roll in cowsh!t and soak in the ditch, it's the small things that makes her happy.
