advice on starting lot sweeping

so i have had several of the maintenance companies we do work for ask us if we are interested in lot maintenance (sweeping only). i have done a lot of research, i know my costs and what to charge, but i cant find any forums for sweeping that arent garbage. who here already does sweeping, and i would love to get some advice, things to look for, be aware of. i here from other sites there is a lot of upkeep on the machines, but i would like to add more services. thanks for the help.

I would also like to provide this service. Thought about subbing the jobs out until I built up enough contracts to support purchasing equipment. I am still on the research end of things right now - If you find a good forum let me know.

will do. all the forums i find are hard to navigate through and have useless information. i thought of calling a few local companies to get pricing on properties i have, but dont want to be misleading. i know people do it to me on landscape maintenance, and it pisses me off. but yeah, let me know if you come up with anything. thanks

Plowsite.com has a decent forum for sweeping. It is the most active one I have found anyway. I would be happy to try to answer any questions you might have about the business. I own a lot maintenance company that does sweeping, striping, snow plow and pressure washing. Post them here or PM me if you like.
