if you're doing a lot of climbing owning petzel, chounaird, gibbs, jumar ect ascenders would be handy.

if not a lot of climbing seek out the area caving grotto, someone usually has spare gear for sale or loan.

rotar is right about safety. gravity sucks.

How high are you? I've installed too many Cast moonlights to count and I don't go higher than 25'.
By what you have described, your over 25'.

Between 30 and 50 feet. Like I said, if it were me I'd have installed them off a 24' ladder but this is someone else's work, I'm just servicing it.
