New Project

Me and my friend went to the dump saturday to unload some yard debris from a dump run. Right as i took the tarp off the load, i looked in the junk metal section and saw an old tractor sitting there. I told my friend and we went over and checked it out.

It turned out to be an old Jacobsen lawn tractor. It was electric start but no battery. Everything else was there. One of the guys who works at the dump said the owner told him the rings were bad.


Well, what the heck. It's free. We had no ramps, so we had one of the big loaders lift it into the bed of my pickup. We get it back to my friends house.

He put a battery in it, and it starts right up. An adjustment of the carb. and it's running great.

I have to get utility lights for the front, but it looks good now.
