When I bought my KX121-3 it had been sitting for a while and a mouse moved in. Other than a chewed fuel line, he pissed in the thing and I can STILL smell it. 4 years later!!!!

I would have to agree that that smell is one of the worst and impossible to get out.

If you go to a janitors supply house there are cleaners that will help remove that smell. Usually a enzyme cleaner that uses bacteria to get rid of odors we have a few at work that work well.

The dealer didn't do a PDI on it, I'd be screaming!

The dealer should be bending over backwards to the person the machine has sat on the dealers lot for 2 years.

See I call my local guy who I technically bought it from and he says yeah you bought it from me on paper but really that was the other guys machine. I call the other guy and he says call your local dealer.

I'm gona have to lay down the law tomorrow. That thing is getting cleaned out and stripped down and its not getting put back together until I approve it.

The hard thing is the machine isn't at the first dealer anymore and if your normal dealer didn't make much you may be out of luck. You would have had leverage before you drove away, you know? Hope it turns out but...

I don't really see where you have a leg to stand on. The local doesn't owe you anything, the seller has your money and he's far away. Another reason why I'm reluctant to jump on these "deals" of yours.

I ran into issues last fall with the U-35 I purchased off of ebay. The seller became less and less helpful with my questions until I just gave up. I was going to pay an unannounced visit this fall so that we could have a little face to face, but it fell through.

this is a brand new machine not a used ebay machine. Do you think the president of area manager of deere would like to know a NEW machine was sold like this?

not even worried about this one.
