Loading salt on a nightly bases, used it to move a bunch of wood for a guy today, then used it to move a few old pieces of scrap iron. Salt mainly. I don't like the salt getting tracked into the cab, I need to pull it in and clean it out good then make a cardboard tray for the boots to keep the salt out of it.

Try find a place that carries a boot brush you see them on truck tractors mostly owner operators that do long haul. The brush does they do work to clean the bottom of your boots. The other cheap option is that green outdoor carpet cut into a floor mat.
