Web Hosting
Check out hostsave.com. This hosting service accepts frontpage and other formats. I pay the $8.00 per month which gives me 500 e-mail accounts and tons of storage space for the site. My site is currently under construction but take a look and tell me what you think.

looks good. a couple of recs:
- your logo looks like it was resized while in the .gif format. doing so leads to fuzzy/grainy text. if you have the original format (vector-based), you can resize it and then convert it to the desired .gif size. - try making your menu as a gif to try and get rid of the graininess. with your gradient background color on the menu, it might not work too well, but it's worth a shot to make the buttons sharper. or lose the gradient for a flat color .gif and you'll be set. - on high-res screens, the pages feature some upper and lower centered features, but the body text is left justified making it look awkwardly off-balance. - your about us logo looks bad for the same reason listed above. rule of thumb for you is that flat color artwork should be in .gif format. .jpg format, as you've used, is for photographic work. the formats render color differently, so it's a simple fix to recreate those as gifs. - the services page has grossly oversized pics. if you save them correctly, you can keep the same quality and have the files be 75% smaller. - you might try a better way to organize the services page. with so many services scattered around the page, it's hard to see what's what. maybe try laying them out in colored tables or some other format to give a more cohesive look. - not a priority, but if you wanted to go through the effort, your gallery images could be significantly smaller while maintaining a similar quality. - comb your site for typos. "landscaping ompany in Plano" - one little editorialization: pointing out smitty's site as looking too much like a template is ironic give the quantity of "borrowed" content you have on your site. do you have permission to use that? - out of curiousity, did you do the site yourself or hire out? |

I know this is an old thread but, and out of curiosity, I figured that roughly 75% of the sites listed no longer exist.
I guess the moral is that business sense is more important than a slick website. Something to think about. .
