trenching in clay

first off hello to all I am new here.

now to business
I just bought a m470 vermeer with b800 hoe 95" trencher bar/ cable plow combo
my project is to try and install geothermal lines. I am in Manitoba Canada and my soil is wet clay. how do i get my chain to clean? how do i get my trench clean need 6' deep for install and my trencher is leaving the trench about 4' deep?

using the hoe is an option but I will need a 24" bucket right now it has a 16". the trencher would would be cleaner less disturbance.

What is the tooth setup on the trencher? Shark tooth, cups, bullet bits? Maybe a different setup would clean better.

right now it has just cup cutters on every second station I believe 5" cut all new cutters. I have more cutters but need to get spacers to install them as the guy I bought it from had it pretty bare on the chain.

Sharp shooter and clean out. Get used to it.
And run the chain rpm as high as it will go.

you need a crumber, i built the one for my trencher
