Has anyone used Lebanon 15-2-8?
I am wondering if any LS members have used Lebanon 15-2-8 Bio/Mesa?

Bio mesa
I have not used it YET but I am going to. All of the Mesa products I have used have been as advertised, fantastic! If it works as described it should be a great bridge product! Grassman177 just ordered 7 pallets of the stuff and is going to use it soon, you might pm him.

just spread it today so we will see, i think it will do very well. spread nice and easy, but severely hard to see it spreading with all the dark prills of biomass. got it for 16.50 per bag before tax i think, so not very much more than other similar ratio standard ferts with some mesa and micros like we normally use.
i will tell you soon how we like it after it gets watered in a few times, intersting you posted this and i just got my order in two days ago. it comes 48 to a pallet, and the bags are very thick walled plastic, narrow and longer than other normal sized fert bags. six bags per layer on a pallet too.

I've been using Lebanon's 19-0-19 w/62% MESA for 6 years now. It is an excellent product.
In the heat of summer, or with a real problem lawn, I'll add Houactinite (Houston's Milorganite) to the mix, and the results are, again, excellent. Our Tif 419 in Texas loves MESA. I'm anxious to try out this blend full time . . . if only to keep my sweaty hands out of a hopper half full of biosolids! Grassman, please keep us informed on the response you see in the next couple of weeks! |

The way Lebanon comes with 48 per pallet is different, but the bags are almost like long pillows shape, and the pastic is really thick as well.
Lebanon spreads a little different than scu, and and the organic component and it takes getting used to,though not nearly as bad as spreading Merit .5 G. I had pricing emailed today,I am with .25 cents of your price, delivered. Posted via Mobile Device |

i hate to use a high N fert this time of year, not a good choice unless using at a low app rate. so far i have not revisited any of the treated places yet, but we have no rain, only had water or irrigation which is not the same

What kind of coverage are you getting per bag? I'm interested in the results as well as I'd like to use some bridge products and am a big lebanon/Mesa fan. Last edited by pieperlc; 08-08-2010 at 02:59 PM. |
