morning guys did a job this weekend here are the task and the price what do you think.

mow trim and blow front and back, bi weekly $40.00
trim evergreens and small bushes total 6 plants
remove 2 old evergreens and 2 old rose plants (remove roots from roses)

install 2 new evergreens, 2 new knockout rose plants and 1yard of mulch materials with edger board and landscape cloth total $200.00.

I plan on charging $395.00 about 5hours labor.

I would charge around $650.00 to do this job. thats just with what you are stating. It might be more depending on job conditions. does not including mowing.

Thanks Mike I forgot to mention there was some ivy trimming/leveling also made easy with Echo extennted shaft trimmer. The work was for an FSBO/agent the $395.00 I thought was a little low $440.00 was on the high end. That is still a little lower than your quote. I will give the numbers some thought but there has been quite bit of work performed so far (other property jobs) and with the leafs starting to fall don't want to scare him off. I am charging about $35.00 an hour for labor. Thanks again.

Do you find that it is very hard to get some home owners to part with 10-20 year old plants as though it was a family member....roll it into the next Mortgage payment

So tell me Mike, how much were the evergreens you quoted this guy?

Just curious if your nursery prices are in the same ballpark...
