Just got my seed!!

Just got my first order of seed, 90k pounds!! Looking forward to planting because that means winter is almost here and its gonna be in cruis-control for a few months. Though I dont know where we are gonna have time, I just signed a contract to trim 452 trees. Just bought 2 Stihl ms 190 and a HT 131 saw. I trimmed 10 trees and didnt have to climb a single one! Now all I have to do is buy 2 new motors for my walkers and I will be set! Until something else breaks.

Your first order is 45 tons!!!!!!
Heck I thought my couple of tons was a decent dose, but I am pushing a spreader too so I would run and hide if someone showed up with 45 tons.

I push the spreader as well. Just bought 5 new earthway spreaders and 10 drop spreaders. You know what I hate most though? Its after you seed, set the water and everything checks out ok, and then the next day you get a call saying a valve is stuck on and all the seed in that section has washed out! I hate that so much, its such a waste of seed.

WOW! That's a lot of seed. My total purchased so far in my entire career doesn't even come close. I get mine at JD Landscapes now and Lesco when I lived in MD. The thing I like about those places is the managers always treat me just like I did buy 90,000 pounds of seed.

Did you buy the Oregon grown seed? Help is needed badly, as the seed industry is in deep trouble because of housing starts and golf courses skipping reseeding, or not starting any grow-in courses.

Yes, I know for a fact it comes from Oregon! Thats just the first load, I have another coming in about 2 weeks. That load I usually sell half and keep the other half. All my guys get stiff when they see all that seed.
