Late Season Mowing: LOVE IT!

Man, I love this late season mowing. High today only about 80, nice breeze, and trimming is a breeze compared to spring and early summer. Trimmed one today in probably ten minutes or so that takes about 40 during peak growing season.

Absolutely, love fall mowing! It is so refreshing to mow/trim in the cool air without totally sweating your clothes out. Now, if we can do something about those leaves....

I love it as well. The grass isn't nearly as thick as earlier in the season, and the cooler temps and wind make it much more enjoyable. However, it also means the season will be ending soon............so it's a double-edged sword, so to speak.

The records are not that old, compared to the earth. Makes me wonder how old the records are.

Its still in the low 90's here in GA but the humidity has been really low the last 2-3 weeks. It has been quite nice mowing without the humidity. My shirt isn't dripping with sweat when I come home anymore. My only complaint is I'm starting to run out of daylight. I'm part time so I mow after work in the evening so I can take weekends off to relax. Luckily my lawns are bermuda and it should be going dormant in the next 4-5 weeks.
