pop up sprinklers

I've been using a Gilmour sled base poly head sprinkler. I read online today where I could put a "underground irrigation" type sprinkler on the sled base. I just have to buy some 1/2" threaded connector to connect the sprinkler to the base. I have 2 bases, so my question is what kind of sprinkler should I get that will connect using a 1/2" threaded connector? My front lawn is about 52'x62'.

Just use the sprinkler that was on it. If not an I-20 6" stainless PRS,

I thought the irrigation type was more efficient and give it a more even coverage

Only if you have head to head coverage. Buy several more and string hoses.

Or a I-40 like on my avatar, 'course, then one would have to bush from 1/2" to 1" and stake it down. 1" or 3/4" hose would work with a bush for the 1" hose. I wonder what the psi/gpm is off the hose bibb?
