Well i have the question above and I was also wondering what would be a reasonable price on a 89' 3/4 ton 4x4 Chevy. I would be in pretty good shape with about 150000 miles and not be rusted. I need a truck to pull a 6x16 trailer for lawn care. Should I make sure to go ahead now and get the 3/4 ton? Or, for less money, can I get by with 1/2 ton.

What I would look for what the specific GVW is for the truck you are looking to buy. The heavy duty 2500 series will be around 8600 GVW. What that will buy you is a trans cooler, oil cooler, usually a snow plow prep package, and heavier suspension.
If you are looking at a lower GVW 2500 series, you can also look at the 1500 series.
If I was looking for a truck myself I would want the HD 2500.
Dino
----------
Professional Ice and Snow Management
Products:Services:Equipment www.sima.org
