Backpack Sprayers: Use Cold Water And Ice Cubes

I just finished sprying 3 gallons Roundup through a Solo backpack sprayer on fenceline...lots of walking.

It is a really swampy evening.

Before I set out I had the idea to use chilled water leftover from today's drinking water, and topped with tap water. Then I threw in 2 super big gulp cups of ice from 7-Eleven.

Felt a little awkward at first, but it really kept me cool. Sort of like a NASCAR cool suit, but this would be a cool jacket!

Try it...it works. Use just enough ice so it melts almost immediatly and doesn't mess up your ratios.
