There's fair amount of walk behinds in Austin but you don't see a lot of Toro Z's. I think Toro's reputation took a hit from all the older walk behinds they made with thin decks that cracked around the spindles.

The one thing that Toro is king of here is the mini equipment. The Dingo seems to be the most popular mini by far.

Its one fast beast of a mower. I don't see a lot of deck issues with toro. What are people running in Austin for ztr's mostly?

I really like it. It handles great, very smooth and precise. My only issue is operator error on my part, I can't seem to turn without tearing turf. Lucky for me I mow vacant lots with it and no one cares. I need to work on my method of turning if I use it for residential properties.
