Vac will be mounted on the trailer. Weight, not exactly sure. We originally loaded it with a guy on each corner but I have an eyebolt on the top now for a hoist or forklift. Didn't move the suspension when we set it down so I'm guessing around 400-500 pounds.

That's one of the nicest leaf boxes on this site.
I like your truck also, what year is it? Looks like a '95 or '96.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I have had quite a few calls while out and about with this. Pretty much at the point where I'm full for cleanups. I have a buddy who does lettering so all my stuff is pretty well lettered up, almost to the point of too much. I give him something to letter (truck, trailer, etc) and just tell him to do whatever, and it comes back full of vinyl.
Anyway, truck is a 96 7.3 diesel w/ 300k. Great truck. I literally beat the hell out of it. I also have a 94 along with this and a new addition just recently still sitting in the drive, a 2011 F350 single cab, yet to be lettered. I'll continue to use the 96 and 94 until it's time to sell or put the new truck into service full time. All three trucks will be used for plowing but I don't need three for lawncare. Here's a pic of the back of the truck w/ the blower mounted. I elected to use my smaller trailer instead of the larger one used mostly for the mowing. This trailer is nice to pull and get into spots, but I definitely don't have enough room. I can fit my ZTR, a 21 along side and a 52 WB sideways in the back. I'd like to have a 2nd ZTR w/ my leaf plow but right now it's just not working. I wish I had a nice light 16' trailer instead of this 12' but don't really have time to swap it over, maybe next year. You can't see the mount that great in the pic but you get the idea of how it's mounted. |
