Enough weight on a tow dethatcher will mimic a slit seeder (without seeding). JRCO or Tow behind for big properites and smaller units for average yards. When you are digging up a few rocks while dethatching, thats a sign your deep enough.. lol

I've actually found peoples stuff with the rake and pulled up bricks!
