NEED HELP...dipstick Broke off in fh451v motor

Do I have too tear motor apart to get the dipstick chunk out of motor?
It broke off right at the full mark.I think it happened when I was trying to bolt dipstick tube on motor.
I went to start it and it pulled easy for 2 or 3 pulls and then got harder to pull over.So I went to ck oil and thats when I found out that the end of the dipstick broke off in the motor.I need some Ideas on how to fix the problem.Could I drain oil and take filter off and put air to it ,in hopes that the chunk of plastic comed out the oil drain hole?Worried and going crazy.
Thanks

Most engines have a segmented crank, the chunk will likely not drain with oil.

Try fishing it out with pincers but you'll probably need to remove and open the engine .....

Not a good idea. Getting beat around by the crank will break the plastic down very fast into tiny pieces which can block Oil return ports on the piston and other oil pathways.

I agree with ratfink,i would removed it. never went into a fh451, but have on fh541 and fh680's and the dipstick tube is right next to the oil pump... although i beleave it wouldnt effect the pump itself it could if small enough find its way to the lower crankshaft bushing and seal through the knotches in the case that the oil travels.. most of the ones i found only lodged into the drain port somewhat and caused it to take 10x longer to drain the oil but i found them by chance.. these guys rarely tell me they break anything untill its no longer running lol, most the time its me finding not them telling.
