Yup, I bet if we had a winterizing Olympics, it'd be a dead heat, even though we all have our own techniques.

Closer *might* finish first. Starting further away and you are pushing a HUGE volume of water initially all at once. Definitely taxing on a smaller compressor. Using more fuel.

So judging categories:

Elapsed time
Fuel efficiency/compressor effort
Hose coiling by hand
Penalty points for damaged plantings

And a special event: Controller is locked up (no remote) FIND THE VALVE BOX(es)

I'm saying we always try to mount our quick-couple on the high side of the main and let gravity help the compressor out.

Extra points for launch height (especially a Toro Stream Rotor high pop).

Melted fittings are five points per.

Those 3 foot high green plastic coated thin-wall steel "risers" from the big box easily get the most height! They launch more times than not.
