You never did explain how a slower closing MV helps with a zone valve that closes faster. You want to compare Griswold's valve sales to RB, Hunter, and TORO combined?

When I started 30 years ago they were around but I haven't seen Griswold literature in ages. Awesome looking valve but price wise it is off the charts for the avg irrigator to even consider.

The only hole is your inability to recognize that using a Griswold valve to solve your water hammer issues is a failure in common sense installation skills.

we no gots any Ewing around these parts, bubba ~ I have serviced systems with Griswold 2000 valves and Thompson rotors, and the valves could still stick open, and the heads could still stop turning, despite their impeccable pedigrees.
