You never did explain how a slower closing MV helps with a zone valve that closes faster. You want to compare Griswold's valve sales to RB, Hunter, and TORO combined?

I wonder how many irrigation distributors have Griswold on their line cards.

When I started 30 years ago they were around but I haven't seen Griswold literature in ages. Awesome looking valve but price wise it is off the charts for the avg irrigator to even consider.

Yea .... $82 dollars for a 1" brass valve is off the charts

we no gots any Ewing around these parts, bubba ~ I have serviced systems with Griswold 2000 valves and Thompson rotors, and the valves could still stick open, and the heads could still stop turning, despite their impeccable pedigrees.
